Arrests made in Stewart Street Homicide

Six people have been arrested and charged in connection with a homicide at a Stewart Street home.

On November 26, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Peterborough Police were called to 296 Stewart Street where they located a deceased male. The deceased male has been confirmed as 42-year-old Terence (Terry) Pringle of Stewart Street.

The autopsy has been completed and we can confirm the cause of death as blunt force trauma.

Members of the Criminal Investigations Unit commenced an extensive investigation over the course of the last five days. As a result of the investigation six persons have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Terry Pringle. Two of those persons are young offenders.

This was an isolated incident. We cannot comment on motive at this time but we can confirm that those involved have some connection to the victim.

The investigation is ongoing. We are not looking for any other suspects but are still interested in speaking with anyone who may have information related to this investigation.

In no particular order of involvement, charged in connection with the death of Terry Pringle are:

Samantha Elizabeth Hall, 25, of Stewart Street

  • Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
  • Accessory after the fact to murder

Christopher Mitchell Bolton, 29, of Bethune Street

  • Accessory after the fact to murder

Joseph Douglas Crawford, 28, of Dalhousie Street

  • Accessory after the fact to murder

Jordan Kelly Osborne, 24, of Aylmer Street

  • First degree murder
  • Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence

16-year-old Peterborough male

  • First degree murder

15-year-old Peterborough male

  • First degree murder
  • Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence

Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act the name of a young person cannot be released.

The investigation is continuing and we remain on scene at the residence on Stewart Street.

All accused were held in custody and are scheduled to attend court today (Nov. 30).
