On the 6th of December 2016 police were notified that a large number of Christmas lights were stolen from the Town Xmas Magic display located in front of the Cobourg Harbor. In addition a number of ornaments were damaged .Police believe this happened between Monday afternoon Dec.5th and Tuesday Dec. 6th at 9:30 am.
Police are currently canvasing the area and would appreciate the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s).
The monetary loss to the Town of Cobourg is estimated to be 1,500-2,000.dollars.
