Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Street Crime Unit are investigating a break and enter to a business.
At approximately 5:30am on Monday, January 12, 2026, damage to a storefront window at a business on George Street near Brock Street was reported to police. It was learned that 30-40 phones had been taken at a value of approximately $30,000. Officers located and seized several items believed to be used to break the window and glass cases. It’s estimated the damage to the glass was about $2,700.
