The Peterborough Police Service is asking anyone with information to come forward following a break-in to a vehicle and garage at a Baker Street home.
On June 12, 2019 at approximately 3:50 a.m. an unknown person entered a vehicle parked at a Baker Street residence. Once inside the vehicle the unknown person used the garage door opener and accessed the garage of the residence stealing a Mastercraft tool bag with a drill, battery and drill bits.
A neighbour then observed the unknown person attempting to open other vehicles parked in the neighbourhood. Police were later contacted and officers attended.
The suspected is described as:
* Male
* Caucasian
* 5’8” 0 5’9”
* Wearing a dark hoody and blue jeans
The Peterborough Police Service reminds residents to double-triple check to ensure vehicle doors are locked and secured and garage door openers kept in vehicles are hidden and out of plain sight.
