Break and Enter – Theft Of Firearms

(BRIGHTON, ON) – On June 13, 2017 the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an investigation involving the theft of several firearms and ammunition.

A resident on Carman Rd in Brighton reported a break-in to the home that occurred sometime between 6:00-9:00 p.m. The culprit(s) forced a patio door open and stole jewellery, a ‘GoPro’ camera and five firearms –

  • Benelli SuperNova 12 gauge pump action shotgun,
  • Winchester model 1400 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun,
  • Winchester model 1200 12 gauge pump action serial #2025084,
  • Winchester Super X semi-automatic 12 gauge shot gun
  • LR 22cal Crackshot antique rifle (circa 1913)
