The Peterborough Police Service is requesting the public’s help in locating a second vehicle that was in the area when a pedestrian was struck and killed last Thursday evening in the City of Peterborough.
40-year-old Corey Johnston was killed in the incident which happened around 8:30 pm on George Street North on January 14th, 2021.
As part of the ongoing investigation, members of the Traffic Services Unit are now looking to identify a second vehicle that was in the area at the time of the incident.
The vehicle was observed to travel northbound on George Street, continuing north bound on Water Street before turning westbound onto King Street, southbound on George Street then west on Sherbrooke Street.
The Peterborough Police Service is also asking the owner/operator of the vehicle to contact police.
The vehicle is described as (pictures below):
- charcoal grey
- four door hatchback
- black rims
