Mischief Incidents

The Peterborough Police Service is continuing to investigate after several mischief incidents were reported on the same street recently.

The reported incidents happened in early morning hours of Thursday, September 7 and Monday, September 11, 2023 on Alexander Avenue in the Medical Drive and Sherbrooke Street area of Peterborough.  In one incident, a personal care bank (a wooden receptacle for personal hygiene items that are available to the community) was thrown at a parked car and the windshield smashed and in the other report it was indicated a vehicle had been rummaged through and some money stolen and that a similar incident had happened about a month before.

Anyone with information or video footage from the area is asked to call Peterborough Police Crime Line at 705-876-1122 x555 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.stopcrimehere.ca
