On January 29, 2024, at approximately 7:50 a.m., members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a structure fire at a residence on Megyaak Drive in Alderville. Officers attended the scene where fire crews were dealing with the fire.
Forensic Identification Services (IDENT), Canine Unit (K9) and Emergency Response Team members attended to assist with the investigation.
No injuries have been reported and the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit are continuing to investigate this incident.
