OPP LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE IN THEFT INVESTIGATION

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a break and enter at a property on County Road 504 in North Kawartha Township.

On February 28, 2024, OPP officers received a call where the complainant stated a workshop on their seasonal property located on County Road 504, had been broken into some time in the first couple weeks of February. During a routine check of the property, the door to an outbuilding was observed open and items were found to be missing. Images of two people were caught on a surveillance camera within the building.

Person 1: White male, late 30-40’s, short curly dark hair, black ‘Snap-On’ jacket

Person 2: White male, 30’s, medium build, bald, black/red plaid jacket, black undershirt, silver chain

Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identification of the suspect(s) involved in this theft. If you have any information that may lead to the identification of these two individuals, we want to hear from you.
