OPP LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFY SUSPECTS

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance to identify two persons of interest in relation to a theft investigation in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township.

On July 24, 2023, Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a theft at a business on Highway 7. The complainant advised that on July 20, 2024, two individuals arrived on a motorcycle at approximately 4:20pm. The two entered the premises and over the next few minutes placed multiple items in a reusable shopping bag, then exited the store making no effort to pay for the items.

The suspects are described as:

(Suspect 1) white male, grey hair wearing white shorts, white t-shirt, white socks, and black shoes. (see photo)

(Suspect 2) white female, blonde hair wearing a blue dress. (see photo)

No description of the motorcycle was able to be provided.

Investigators are looking to identify these individuals and ask that anyone that may be able to provide assistance, reach out to the Peterborough County OPP.
