OPP SEEKING ASSISTANCE IN TRAILER THEFT INVESTIGATION
Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to the theft of a utility trailer.
On June 15, 2026, police received a report that a trailer had been stolen from a commercial property on Sharp Road in the Municipality of Brighton. The theft is believed to have occurred on June 14, 2026, shortly after 5:00 a.m.
The stolen trailer is described as a silver 2021 Cana utility trailer, model 724, measuring approximately 22 feet in length and displaying Ontario licence plate X5715M. The trailer is valued at approximately $15,000.
Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identification of the suspect or suspects involved in this theft.
