Robbery

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating an early morning robbery at a King Street convenience store.

On Thursday March 9, 2017 at approximately 12:30 a.m. a male suspect walked into a convenience store located on King Street, selected some food items and then approached the til. Once at the til the man demanded money and cigarettes from the employee behind the counter. The employee handed over an amount of cash from the register and cigarettes. The man then fled the store on foot, last seen heading west on King Street.

Police were called and officers attended. The investigation to locate the male continues.

  • Caucasian
  • 35 to 40 years old
  • Long face
  • Wearing a hat
  • Dark sweatshirt
  • Dark pants
