Peterborough Police are looking for a suspect after a convenience store was robbed early Saturday morning.
At approximately 6:30 am on November 20, 2021, officers received an alarm call to a convenience store in the Lansdowne Street East and Ashburnham Drive area. When officers they arrived, they learned that the suspect had entered the store holding a rifle, demanded money and cigarettes and the left. K9 conducted a search of the area locating an item of clothing and several stolen items, however, a suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as (picture below for assistance):
- White male
- 20-30 years of age
- Dark toque with “Canada” written in white writing on the front
- Red bandana covering his face
- Fall Camo jacket “Leaf/tree” print
- Grey jacket underneath
- Dark jeans
- Black boots
- Black backpack
- Black rifle
