THEFT OF TRUCK, TRAILER AND LOADERS

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a truck, trailer, and two Kubota’s being stolen from a commercial property in Douro-Dummer.

On Thursday August 14, 2025, a Peterborough County OPP officer was dispatched to a report of equipment that had been stolen from a property on County Road 4 in Douro-Dummer Township. The complainant advised that they received a call stating that one of their loaders was found parked in the middle of Douro 8th Line and their white company pickup truck was located a short distance away.

Upon arrival at the property, it was also noted that a trailer and a mini excavator were also missing and had not been located. The theft appeared to have taken place in the early morning of Thursday August 14, 2025.

The trailer, a black J&J Model LD2 flatbed and the orange Kubota model KX40 remain outstanding.

Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the recovery of the property and the identification of the suspect(s) involved in this theft.
