The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad would like to advise the public that a Federal Offender who went unlawfully at large on February 15, 2024, has been apprehended in Peterborough.
Derek POWELL was located and arrested by the ROPE Squad.
POWELL is serving a seven (7) year, six (6) month and fifteen (15) day Long Term Supervision Order for:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Threaten Death and Bodily Harm – 2 counts
- Forcible Confinement – 2 counts
- Assault Peace Officer – 2 counts
- Mischief
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order – 4 counts
