OPP LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a person of interest in relation to a theft investigation in Selwyn Township.

On June 2, 2023, Peterborough County OPP was called to investigate a theft at a residence on Dinsdale Street. The complainant advised that sometime through the night between June 1 – 2, 2023, an unknown suspect entered a vehicle in the complainant’s driveway and removed personal belongings, including identification, debit, and credit cards. The cards have been used at different stores in Peterborough.

Investigators are looking to identify a person of interest, who is described as female, white, small/medium build, with brown hair (see attached photo).
