Peterborough Police investigating after a theft at a local business Monday afternoon.
At approximately 1:00pm on January 24, 2022, officers were called to the business in the Hunter Street West and Queen Street area about a theft. Upon arrival officers learned that a man and a woman had entered the store. As the pair was leaving the store, the clerk noticed that the female had some items and attempted to stop them. The clerk then noticed that their purse had also been taken.
The suspects were described to police as:

- Female, Caucasian
- Striped Sweater
- Jeans
- Blue Vest
- Bucket Hat
Suspect #2:
- Male, Caucasian
- Black Cloth Coat
- Black Toque
