Peterborough Police Service is investigating a street-level robbery Tuesday evening.
At approximately 11:00pm on January 31, 2023, an injured man walked into the police station to report a robbery. Officers learned he had been walking behind several businesses in the area Townsend Street, George Street North, and the train tracks when he was assaulted by four males and robbed of cash. The victim did not know the suspects. The suspects were described to police as four white males. The victim was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment of his injuries.
Police searched the area where the victim had been walking but were unable to locate any suspects.
